"Freedom From Society" Original Painting

"Freedom from Society", is a sort of journal piece full of deep meaning for me. I started this painting the day Roe v. Wade was overturned, I was filled with grief and did not know where to place my feelings other than in a piece of art. This painting is about being an artist, it is about being a woman, it is full of hope but also visions of escape.
